The Residence Hluboká is located in the vicinity of the town of Hluboká nad Vltavou in a quiet area called Podskalí. The Residence situated just a few steps away from the golf course is a starting point for cyclists and hikers who will surely enjoy a number of cycle trails and explore the environs of Hluboká nad Vltavou. Tennis courts, football pitches and baseball field are only a 5-minute walk away. The Sports Centre with other sports grounds, minigolf and a climbing centre are also within walking distance (about 10 minutes). The Vltava, which is navigable to Mělník and then empties into the Elbe which flows to Hamburg, offers in Hluboká a new marina for recreational and sports boats. The magnificent Hluboká Castle is about 10 minute walk away through the romantic Castle Park. You may also admire animals in one of the most popular zoos in the Czech Republic. Nice restaurants and cosy cafés on the town square situated nearby the Residence welcome their guest to try their specialities. The dominant feature of the town square is undoubtedly the Church of Saint John of Nepomuk and the recently installed Stations of the Cross.
